Common Questions

We know that finding the right support for your organization takes time and trust. Here are answers to some of the questions we hear most often about our pro bono consulting program. Don't see what you're looking for? Reach out to our team directly and we'll be happy to help.

Who are the SVP Denver partners and advisors?

SVP Denver Partners are professionals from across Metro Denver who contribute their skills, expertise, and real-world experience to help nonprofits and social ventures tackle meaningful challenges. Our Partners come from a wide range of fields, including finance, marketing, legal, HR, technology, and more. They are matched with organizations based on the specific needs of each project, so the support you receive is relevant and practical. You can browse our Partner directory to get a sense of who is in our network.

Can we apply again if our organization has already received pro bono consulting support from SVP Denver?

Yes! We love seeing organizations come back as they continue to grow. Past experience with our pro bono consulting program is not a barrier to applying again. Each application cycle is evaluated based on current organizational need and the availability of Partners with the right skills to help. We encourage you to reach out to our team if you have questions about whether your organization is a good fit for another project.

We applied, but our organization was not matched. Can we apply again?

Absolutely. Not being matched in a previous cycle does not disqualify you from applying again. Matching depends on the specific skills and availability of our Partners at the time of each cycle, so a project that was not a fit before may be a great fit in a future round. We encourage you to apply again and to connect with our team so we can better understand your needs.

Can I offer support to organizations seeking pro bono consulting from SVP Denver?

Yes, and we would love to hear from you. SVP Denver Partners bring their professional skills and expertise to support local nonprofits and social ventures at no cost to the organizations. As a Partner, you can expect to work on projects ranging from a single 90-minute session to multi-month engagements, depending on the scope of support needed. We match Partners with projects where their skills and interests align with what an organization is working through. If you are interested in getting involved, reach out to our team to learn more about joining the SVP Denver network.
