Theresa brings over a decade of experience in economic mobility and systems change spanning small business development, healthy food access, workforce development, and education. She previously served as Director of Development and Community Impact at Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute where she helped scale inclusive programs that combined capital, education, and mentorship to reduce barriers for underrepresented entrepreneurs. Prior to that, she lived and worked in Washington, D.C. as Chief of Staff at DC Central Kitchen, a nationally recognized anti-hunger and social enterprise organization.
A connector, coalition-builder, and collective impact strategist, Theresa believes deeply in breaking down silos and aligning capital, policy, and community voice to create transformational change. Theresa has written for Nonprofit Quarterly and other publications, presented at national conferences, and served on multiple statewide advisory boards. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in nonprofit management and social entrepreneurship from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. LinkedIn Profile
Dara Bellinson

Dara, originally from Michigan, has spent years working in the social impact sphere with focuses on transformative fundraising, homelessness and food insecurity, and early childhood education.
Alongside their work with SVP Denver, Dara co-founded Community Resource Collective (CRCL) where they supported grassroots organizations in New York City by mobilizing resourced young professionals to engage in informed, sustainable, and lifelong philanthropy. They have enjoyed continuing this work in Denver, grounding themself in the Denver organizational sphere and working alongside incredible Colorado-based changemakers!

Karen Mortimer
Relationship Coordinator
Karen is an Illinois native who joined the ranks of Coloradans in 1997. Karen has been an administrator with education organizations such as Facing History and Ourselves & the Donnell-Kay Foundation and has volunteered within the education space where she focuses on efforts to amplify parent voice, especially within marginalized communities, and to promote transparency and equity. She is the former Chair of the District Accountability Committee for Denver Public Schools and presently serves on the Board for the education non-profit, Ednium.
Her husband, Greg (a Colorado native), is the CIO for Adams 12 School District and also invests his time as the volunteer Executive Director for the Colorado Immigrant Justice Fund. Their son graduated from Manual High School and is headed into a career in audio engineering and their daughter is a student at Kenyon College. LinkedIn Profile
