This fall Social Venture Partners Denver is excited to be supporting 18 social mission organizations through our two training cohorts, Theory of Change and Make Your Pitch. Each organization in this diverse mix is doing amazing work to solve critical problems in the Denver community. We are proud to be part of their unique journeys and appreciate all that they do to support the communities they serve.

• Apprentice of Peace Youth Organization – (Theory of Change, Fall ’22) This youth organization seeks to develop students through a whole-person approach by integrating mentoring, enrichment programs, and career pathways.
• City Year Denver – (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) Partners with educators and AmeriCorps members to support students in Denver and connect them to their school community.
• CO Center on Law and Policy – (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) A non-partisan, non-for-profit advocacy organization dedicated to the vision that every Coloradoan should have what they to succeed.
• Commún: (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) Helps build community resilience through relationships and programs that center on community voice, cultivate a sense of belonging, and realize equity.
• Denver Park Trust – (Theory of Change, Fall ’22) Partners with historically underserved neighborhoods to enhance and expand parks and green spaces, both through fundraising for land acquisition and capital projects.
• Envision:You – (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) Seeks to close gaps in behavioral health outcomes for LGBTQ+ individuals through co-created community programming, advocacy engagement, public awareness campaigns, and evidence-based training.
• The Field Academy – (Theory of Change, Fall ’22) A semester school for high school students that is committed to examining the nation through social justice.
• The Latino Coalition for Community Leadership – (Theory of Change, Fall ’22) Works to find, fund, form, and feature nonprofits in marginalized communities meeting the needs of individuals and families.
• Littleton Town Hall Arts Center – (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) A vibrant hub of arts and culture seeking to enrich the cultural, social, and educational life of the community through professionally produced live theatre, concerts, and other cultural events, and year-round educational programs for children and adults.
• Lighthouse Social Co, Inc. – (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) A social network built to connect participants, volunteers, and donors with nonprofits, charities, and foundations in order to build stronger communities.
• Metro DEEP – (Theory of Change, Fall ’22) Builds generational wealth and health within the African-descendant community by creating an ecosystem that provides access for all through an economic agenda that focuses on youth, workforce, and entrepreneurial development.
• New America College – (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) A nonprofit English language learning center focused on cultivation and celebrating inclusion, community, and success.
• Redemption Road Fitness Foundation – (Theory of Change, Fall ’22) Partners with program members, the community and the Department of Corrections to support health, wellness and personal redemption within the prison system.
• Rocky Mountain Refuge – (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) A shelter that offers dignity to Denver-area neighbors with terminal illness – who lack the shelter of a home – by providing a stable, appropriate environment for hospice agencies to deliver care.
• Slow Food Denver – (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) A Denver nonprofit committed to the enjoyment of local food by all members of the community, seeking to create a more just and sustainable food system.
• Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning – (Theory of Change, Fall ’22) A nationally recognized provider of effective intercultural learning programs and services, working to build brighter futures for individuals and foster more inclusive organizations.
• Sun Valley Youth Center – (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) a non-profit after school and summer program for kids ages five to sixteen in Denver’s Sun Valley neighborhood.
• UpRoot Colorado – (Make Your Pitch, Fall ’22) Increases the nutrition security of Coloradans by harvesting and redistributing surplus, nutrient-dense foods while supporting the resilience of farmers.
