September 16 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
(If you are an SVP Denver Partner, look for a calendar invitation. If you are not an SVP Denver Partner and would like to request an invitation to this event, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.)
If you believe that every family in Colorado should have access to affordable, quality childcare — and want to know how we can make that happen — then don’t miss this event! Two speakers from Early Milestones Colorado – Jennifer Stedron (Executive Director) and Suzanne Delap (Research Director) – will share a 20-minute presentation on their work, followed by a 30-minute Q&A.
What We’ll Discuss
The pandemic revealed a sad truth that was already known by too many in our state – access to early childhood education and quality child care is far from equal and remains a critical quality of life issue for thousands of families across Colorado. How can we create a better system that makes ECE truly available to all? What impact could we create if we realized that vision?
The Early Milestones team has some answers. They’ll share the latest from their work:
- Supporting the CO State Gov’t to put new Universal Pre-K legislation into practice
- Leading the Workforce Innovation Grants program to make ECE jobs more sustainable and stable for the under-appreciated people providing critical services
- And much more
