In 2023, we provided over 100 impact organizations with robust training, thousands of hours of skills-based volunteer support and more than $1M in funding – and it all happened because of our generous, creative, impact-driven community of Partners.

Here’s a glimpse at ways you can make an impact with us this Summer:
Be a Partner in our Theory of Change Training Cohort – Work with a team from a local impact organization to provide feedback and support as they develop their Theory of Change – a roadmap for the impact they want to make in their community.
- Dates: TBD
- Commitment: 2 hours per week over 9 weeks
Be a Partner in our Social Impact Business Plan Cohort – work with a team from a local impact organization at the BIPOC Nonprofit Development Center (BNDC) to provide support as they build their social impact business plan.
- Dates (Tuesdays 1:30-3):
- Coach Orientation: May 21
- Session 1: June 11
- Session 2: June 25
- Session 3: July 9
- Session 4: July 23
- Session 5: August 6
- Commitment: 2 hours per week over 9 weeks
Be a Partner in our Create Your Pitch Cohort – work with a team from a local impact organization at the BIPOC Nonprofit Development Center (BNDC) to provide support as they create a pitch for potential funders.
- Dates (Thursdays 1:30-3):
- Coach Orientation: May 21
- Session 1: June 6
- Session 2: June 20
- Session 3: July 11
- Session 4: July 25
- Commitment: 2 hours per week over 9 weeks
Pro Bono Consulting Projects – We’re collecting new applications for support now. Recent projects include:
- Collaborating with a group of education nonprofit EDs to develop a college success strategy
- Helping a local youth center plan its capital campaign to improve their physical space
- Supporting a conservation nonprofit in developing/improving their financial controls & policies
- Helping an education organization identify business partners that can host internships for low income high school students
Mentor / Advise Local Impact Organizations
Looking for a flexible way to support leaders of local nonprofits and social enterprises? We’ll be matching up local professionals with opportunities to serve as advisors and mentors. If you’ve got 2-3 hours per month and experience to share, we’d love to have you participate.
We’ll be exploring a combination of one-off sessions and ongoing mentor relationships (with 3-12 month commitments).
What You’ll Do & Get

- Build meaningful relationships based on shared purpose
- Get and share community resources
- Attend meetups, trainings and social events
- Learn from local subject matter experts and impact leaders
- Enjoy flexible ways to engage and contribute based on your schedule
Your Experience and Background
Wondering if you’re the right fit? Our Partners and Board bring a wide range of professional and lived experiences. They are business leaders, philanthropists, community activists, nonprofit leaders and engaged citizens.
Generally, we’re looking for passionate people who want to do some / all of the following:
- Share their experiences, connections and resources with local impact organizations.
- Join a community of peers passionate about creating a more equitable Denver
- Learn more about the challenges facing Denver communities + meet the local changemakers implementing innovative solutions
