We provide nonprofit and for-profit organizations dedicated to building a better Metro Denver with free training and strategic consulting services. The application deadline for our Fall ’23 programs has passed, stay tuned for Spring ’23 program announcements!
Expert-led Training
We make expert-led trainings accessible for social mission organizations that don’t have the resources to hire expert consultants or invest in expensive capacity-building programs.
In these programs, you will join a group of local impact organizations for online/in-person sessions that will help you level up in a fun, fast-paced program with proven results. Each cohort and workshop is facilitated by a subject matter expert and social impact organizations are matched with local professionals from SVP Denver’s Partner network who provide additional support and third-party feedback along the way.

Create Your Theory of Change
9 Weeks | September – November, 2023
Develop narrative and graphic version of your Theory of Change to tell the story of who you serve, what you do and the impact you aim to make. You’ll walk away with a critical tool that you can use to align key stakeholders including potential funders, your Board of Directors and internal team.

Build Your Impact Marketing Plan
9 Weeks | September – November, 2023
From developing a solid marketing foundation to crafting compelling messages and utilizing resources wisely, this program equips you with the tools and knowledge to create impactful content and amplify your efforts. With a focus on aligning marketing objectives with your mission, you’ll learn to navigate the marketing landscape strategically, build strong connections through storytelling, and measure your success. Take action to drive your organization forward with a refined and effective marketing plan.
Pro Bono Support

Strategic Consulting
Need expert support on a multi-month strategic project, but can’t afford a consultant? SVP Denver Partners want to help, for free.

2. Response from SVP.
We will personally reach out to inform you of placement in our programs (or if we can’t support at this time). We may ask to set up a quick call to discuss options.
3. Make your impact!
We’ll fill you in on details for getting started with SVP Denver or try to point you in the direction of other resources.

How many programs can I apply for?
There’s no limit to what you can apply for, though we typically only place organizations in a single program at a time. In the application, you’ll be able to select all of the options you are interested in. Please do let us know if you have a strong preference or priority!
Do you offer programs and support other times during the year?
We have 3 program and application cycles each year – Spring (March to May), Summer (June to August), Fall (September to November). So if you don’t see a great fit this time around, please look out for more opportunities coming up!
My organization participated/applied previously. Do we need to do the application again?
Yes, but we make it much simpler. When filling out the application, you can indicate if you applied or paticipated in an SVP Denver program in the past 12 months. You will be automatically redirected to a short update form (which will take 5-10 minutes to complete).
